My passion with Crayola

      as kids we draw without even thinking about it.  You place a dot on the paper and ask your teacher was it is.

"i don't know....is it a dot"  she would say.

but you know better, for imagination is more important than knowledge and for some reason that idea is lost to the dark nether reaches of the dumpster of our brains.  Thrown out, lost, and ruined.

"oh but teacher, you looking at what it would be... not what it could be.  Its a telephone pole from a plane, a turtle that has been frightened, you accident with the cup of pudding you had for lunch, or the world as seen from jupiter" you strongly reply.

"i'm sorry, but that is simply a dot..."

this idea that being correct is everything, that getting an answer wrong is the worst possible thing and your world will come to an end if you forget the pythagorean theorem.  Well i have news for you, math and literature have no purpose in life except to make money.  Creativity is what make you you, what has made humans great.  The soul purpose we have computers and skyscrapers is because humans are driven to create... yet we program ourselves to lose the want express ourselves.

Art does not have a manual, or a script, or lessons to achieve it because it is unattainable.  You can never stop adding, never stop making what is believed to be finished, complete.  Cause there is no finish line, no higher level of achievement that you get to by completing.  Go for it, throw some colors, add some ink and make it you for there are no mistakes in art, only happy accidents.
